Our experiences in life support it. For instance, having one partner for life is the law of God (Matthew 19:8). It was given for our happiness. Chasing two or cheating on one will result in bitterness and loss.

What is most important in your life? Focus all your attention on making that the object of your thoughts and efforts. Singleness of mind and purpose will result in the greatest possibility for a happy and fulfilling life. It will also build character—and that is what God is seeking.
