What's Your Story?

1 minute read time

Along the hallway of the building where I work hang 14 group pictures of men and women who have attended Ambassador Bible Center, a Bible program sponsored by the United Church of God. Every time I pause and look at the groups I recall certain people, certain episodes and certain stories. Every picture tells a hundred stories.

This morning we begin the 15th class of the Ambassador Bible Center. 43 students have come to learn about the Bible and God's way of life. They have interrupted their lives for 9 months to come for this education and experience. I asked them, "What will your class picture say when it comes time to hang it on the wall?" Today they begin writing that story. It will be fun to work with them, teach them and help them explore the depth of God's word over the coming months.

Where are you in your story? What are you writing in your story today? The decisions you make and the actions you take help shape the chapter you'r in right now. The end of the story has not arrived. You can still come to a satisfying conclusion. Check your story line. Make any corrections in the scripting right now. After all, you are the one crafting the narrative.
