Will the Euro Last?
Travelers to Europe this summer will see the dollar a bit stronger against the euro, the common currency of the European Community. It is still above the $1.20 mark, and therefore stronger than the dollar. German officials have been quoted as speculating about whether Germany should remain with the euro or return to the mark. this column by our European correspondent offers some insight from the German press about this question .

Darris McNeely is a retired elder in the United Church of God. He and his wife, Debbie, have served in the ministry for more than 53 years. They have two sons, who are both married, and four grandchildren. Darris continues teaching at Ambassador Bible Center and is a member of the Council of Elders.
