First Commandment
"You shall have no other gods before me."
This Family Study Guide covers the First Commandment and is designed to help families learn more about developing a relationship with God. We will compare the results of obeying the First Commandment to the results of violating the First Commandment. God wants to be first in our lives because of His love for us. When we put our trust in the only true God, we learn to look to Him for direction, protection, healing and our everyday needs.

[33] But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

[2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
[3] And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
