For the first time the Hershey/Harrisburg area will host the Feast of Tabernacles for the United Church of God. Hershey is the perfect place for sweet family fun (heard of Hershey chocolate?). Harrisburg is the capital city that shines with arts, culture and cuisine. It's one town, one city, and everything in between that makes this destination unique and gives everyone something to enjoy. This area blends urban appeal and natural settings and a fascinating history.
Services
Daily Church services occur at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey and halfway to both downtown Hershey and Harrisburg.
Housing
Although staying on-site at the host hotel provides extra opportunities for fellowship, members are free to find alternate housing. But staying at the host hotel does reduce Church expense. A daily full breakfast is included in the rate.
Activities
A few of the recreational opportunities are Hershey’s Chocolate World, Hershey Gardens and Museum, Zoo America, City Island, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, National Civil War Museum, Pennsylvania State Capitol and Susquehanna Riverboat Cruise. All types of pricing and quality of restaurants. As usual, sponsored activities will include teen and young adult activities, youth education and a family activity.
