Come enjoy the Feast of Tabernacles and Eighth Day on the Garden Isle of Kauai, Hawaii! Hawaii is considered a “specialty site” (see definition of specialty sites on page 6).

Kauai is known for its wide variety of natural wonders including Spouting Horn, Opaekaa Falls and Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. You might also choose to enjoy a peaceful afternoon kayaking on the beautiful Wahlua River. Other attractions abound such as dinner cruises, helicopter rides, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and surfing nearby. There are a variety of small towns with plenty of shops, eateries and fascinating history to enjoy.

Services

Services will take place at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Kauai Community College. The facility is a modern, comfortable auditorium with seating for about 550.

Housing

Varied prices for housing for hotels and condos are available. Since daily temperatures are in the 80s with gentle trade winds, not all housing choices have air conditioning, although most have ceiling fans. If you need those particular amenities, please make sure they are available before finalizing your reservations.

Activities

While activities are still being finalized, plans are underway for a luau, hospitality rooms, Bible studies, a river cruise and family day.

Registration

Since Lihue is a specialty site, there will be a registration fee of $75 per person for those ages 20 and above. Also, due to expected attendance reaching capacity of the auditorium, attendees will be required to register on-site and wear either a name badge or wrist band to enter the building.
