Hello, friends!
Nestled along the beautiful Crystal Coast of North Carolina, Morehead City offers a stunning coastal setting to observe the Feast of Tabernacles. Established in the mid-19th century as a key port town along the Atlantic, Morehead has long been a gateway to the sea—rich in maritime heritage, natural beauty, and small-town charm. We invite you to join us on the NC coast this year as we gather to worship the Eternal and observe His Feast days at the Crystal Coast Civic Center!
Located along North Carolina’s Southern Outer Banks, this family-friendly area provides a unique blend of relaxing seaside atmosphere and engaging activities. Whether you’re enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the ocean waves, exploring nearby coastal towns, or fellowshipping with brethren, Morehead City offers an inviting environment for a spiritually uplifting and memorable Feast.
Housing
A wide variety of housing options are available throughout the Morehead City area and surrounding beach communities, including Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, and Beaufort. - Boat tours, fishing charters, deep-sea excursions, and scenic cruises
- Kayaking and paddleboarding through coastal inlets
- Parasailing and beach recreation
- Scuba diving (the nearby coastal waters contain numerous shipwrecks, and are sometimes referred to by divers as the “Graveyard of the Atlantic”)
For those who enjoy nature and wildlife, the area features several parks and reserves which offer hiking trails, bird watching, and coastal exploration.
A few notable attractions include:
- North Carolina Maritime Museum (Beaufort)
- Fort Macon State Park
- North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores
- Cape Lookout National Seashore (accessible by ferry)
- Historic downtown Beaufort, one of North Carolina’s oldest towns
The region’s rich maritime history even includes connections to the infamous pirate Blackbeard, whose flagship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, was discovered just offshore—adding a fascinating historical dimension to your visit.
Spiritual Focus
While the setting is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing, our primary purpose at the Feast of Tabernacles remains unchanged—to deepen our relationship with Almighty God and to grow in unity with His people.
In this refreshing coastal environment, we look forward to meaningful Festival services each day and abundant opportunities for fellowship—whether gathered for services or sharing time along the shore. We are planning a number of Bible studies and other social events for a variety of age groups, and scheduled activities and events will be posted online as the Fall Festival season draws closer. We pray this Feast of Tabernacles will be a time of spiritual renewal, encouragement, and joy for all as we look ahead with great anticipation to the wonderful World Tomorrow!
