Since this year the dates of the Feast of Tabernacles coincide exactly with a traditional week-long vacation period in Colombia and, consequently, the vast majority of possible venues throughout the country are considerably noisy, we are pleased to announce that we have found a place that will be exclusive for Feastgoers.
Services
A small, but cozy country-style hotel, Finca Vacacional Guananí, will be the location for services this year. It is located near the tourist municipality of El Socorro, Santander. The area is framed by the great Chicamocha canyon, providing a comfortable temperature range between 50-77 degrees Fahrenheit. The hotel is located in a neighborhood 10 minutes from the center of El Socorro by car. Daily services will be held in Spanish, although there will be English translation provided.
Because this is a new site, we still have to define some activities and prices per person, however, they are very affordable. The price will include all food, with previously chosen menus (although, if necessary, there may be exceptions).
Travel
The all-inclusive package includes transportation from Palonegro Airport, near the city of Bucaramanga (four hours by car). The other option for travel to the site is from El Dorado International Airport (in the Colombian capital, Bogotá), taking land transportation the remainder of the distance (seven hours to Guananí on a less-winding road. Note: this trip from Bogotá is not included in the price).
