Winneba, Ghana, will once again serve as the gathering place for approximately 400 of God’s people as they assemble to observe the Feast of Tabernacles this year. The festival site will be the University of Education, Winneba (South Campus).
Winneba is located approximately 35 miles west of Ghana’s capital, Accra, on the country’s southern coast along the Gulf of Guinea. The city has a population of about 55,000 and enjoys warm weather throughout most of the year. Temperatures typically range from 74°F to 90°F.
Hotel room rates average around $30 per night.
Popular historical sites, including the Cape Coast and Elmina slave castles, are located about an hour’s drive west of Winneba and can be visited through a variety of tour options. Sir Charles Beach is a popular attraction in Winneba itself.
