Camp Nacome was once the home of the Beaver Dam Springs Resort, the history of which goes all the way back to the resort culture of the late 1800s. The facilities now boast modern cabins and buildings on a 600-acre property in the heart of the Tennessee woodland.
Like many of the preteen camp programs, Camp Nacome offers unforgettable experiences that keep campers and staff coming back year after year. Activities like archery, caving, kayaking, swimming, low ropes, arts and crafts and air riflery are a few. However, no activity roster is complete without Christian living classes each morning. After having equipped campers with a fresh vision and reminder of God’s message, we dive into our activity-packed day, building upon what we’ve learned and inspiring us to grow in character and faith. A special activity like novelty Olympics or movie night brings us to the end of each day.
Camper dorms are arranged by age. Teen staff as young as 16 are welcome without a parent or guardian accompanying them. If this sounds like a place you’d like to experience, come join us this year and build memories with God’s family in a truly picturesque example of His creation!
