This tasty family favorite and can be eaten any time of day.
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour (whole wheat or other if you prefer)
- 3/4 cups oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1/2 cup almonds (slivered)
Mix eggs, sugar and 1 cup of flour. Add oil. Add remaining 2 cups flour, vanilla and almond extract, then almonds (optional) Pour into 2 greased bread pans. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Remove from pans to cool.
