Almond Bread

A scrumptious sweet bread with a slight crunch from slivered almonds.

Ingredients

4 eggs 1 1⁄4 cups sugar 3⁄4 cup butter (melted) 3 cups flour 1⁄2 cup almonds (slivered) 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

Mix sugar, eggs, 1 cup flour, and melted butter. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 bread pans. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Remove from pans, slice as needed. Store in Ziploc bag.

Notes

Chopped apple or other fruit can be added before baking, if desired.
