Belgian Waffles

Tender and flavorful waffles, great with chocolate chips, as an extra special treat.

Ingredients

1 cup flour 1 cup milk 1⁄4 cup butter 2 tablespoons sugar 1 dash salt 4 egg yolks 4 egg whites 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Melt butter and set aside to cool. Mix flour, egg yolks, milk, butter, sugar, salt and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat egg whites until fluffy. Fold into batter. Pour batter into Belgian waffle maker and cook to perfection.

Notes

For extra special waffles add mini chocolate chips or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
