Ingredients

2 1⁄2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1⁄2 cup shortening 1 1⁄3 cups yogurt (plain)

Instructions

Combine flour, salt, shortening and yogurt; mix well.

Roll to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter.

Fry in hot oil (350°F) until puffed and brown.

Drain on absorbent paper.
