Gluten Free Sandies

These light and soft cookies will make anyone's day. These are great as a spring holy day gift to your friends.

Ingredients

1 cup butter 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons water 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups gluten free flour 1 cup pecans (chopped)   confectioners' sugar

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar together. Next add 2 teaspoons of water and 2 teaspoons of vanilla; mix well.

Blend in the flour and mix in the nuts. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours. 

Shape dough into balls. Bake on ungreased cookies sheet at 325 for about 20 minutes. 

When done remove cookies from pan and allow them to cool slightly. While cookies are still a little warm roll in confectioners sugar.
