Ingredients

1⁄2 cup brown sugar 1⁄2 cup whole-wheat flour 1⁄2 cup wheat germ 1⁄2 cup powdered milk 1⁄2 cup butter (plus 2 tablespoons)

Instructions

Knead all ingredients together. Hand work well. Shape into small balls, flatten with fork dipped in flour, on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300°F until edges are brown, 20-25 minutes.
