Ingredients
3 1⁄2 cupsflour (sifted)
3 1⁄2 tablespoonssugar
1 cupbuttermilk
1 teaspoonsalt
cupbutter (melted)
Instructions
Combine all dry ingredients, sift together.
Add melted butter and buttermilk
Kneed and form a ball
Wrap the ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
Heat 3 to 4 inches of oil in a deep fryer or small pan
Working in portions, roll dough on floured surface, to 1/4 inch thickness
