Mashed Potato Pizza

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef 1 teaspoon salt 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon sage 1 teaspoon cumin 6 cups mashed potatoes (seasoned) 2 eggs (beaten) 1 cup parmesan cheese 8 ounces tomato sauce (or 10 oz plain pizza sauce) 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano 1⁄2 teaspoon basil 1 cup onion (chopped) 1 cup green peppers (chopped) 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

Mix together thoroughly: lean ground beef, salt, garlic salt, pepper, sage, and cumin. Set aside.

Mix together: seasoned mashed potatoes, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Press into buttered 9x13x2-inch pan.

Spread over potatoes: tomato sauce (or pizza sauce), oregano, and basil.

Add in layers: ground beef mixture, chopped onions, chopped green peppers, and shredded Mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serves 8-10

Other favorite pizza topping ingredients may be added or substituted.
