Oat Pie Shell

A delicious oat crust, perfect for a deep dish apple pie.

Ingredients

1 1⁄2 cups whole-wheat flour 1⁄2 teaspoon salt 3⁄4 cup oat flour (can grind oats in blender) 1⁄2 cup oil 6 tablespoons ice water

Instructions

In large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Mix oil and water and add to dry mixture. Stir with fork and roll out thin. Press into lightly oiled pie plate. Makes 1 deep dish double crust pie.
