Ingredients

2 cups sugar 1 cup butter (or margarine) 1 cup flour 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup nuts (chopped; reserve 3T for icing) 1 cup peanut butter 6 ounces chocolate chips

Instructions

Brownies:

Melt chocolate in double boiler; set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Blend in melted chocolate, vanilla, and flour. Add nuts. Mix well.

Pour batter into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. When cake has cooled 2 minutes - no more, no less - pour icing on top immediately. Do not allow icing to cool.

Icing:

Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips together in double boiler until bubbly boiling point. Spread on brownies and put in refrigerator right away. Chill overnight or until icing is set.
