Pistachio Dessert

Visually appealing and so delicious! This layered pistachio dessert is perfect for any occasion, and it's easy to make as well.

Ingredients

1 cup flour 1⁄2 cup butter 2 tablespoons sugar 1⁄2 cup nuts (chopped) 8 ounces cream cheese (softened; for filling) 2⁄3 cup powdered sugar 1⁄2 carton whipped topping 2 packages pistachio pudding (small, instant; for topping) 2 1⁄2 cups milk

Instructions

Crust:

Combine flour, butter and sugar. Pat into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or longer.

Filling:

Cream powdered sugar and cheese, fold in whipped topping. Spread on cooled crust.

Topping:

Heat milk and pudding together, spread over second layer. Put other half of whipped topping on top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. 

Notes

Variation: Can use chocolate pudding.
