Quick Mayonnaise Biscuits

These tasty biscuits have a savory cheddar flavor. Great served with soup.

Ingredients

1 cup whole-wheat flour (sifted) 1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted) 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise 3⁄4 cup milk 1⁄3 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded, can be doubled) 2 tablespoons onion (minced)   dash garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

Stir together flour, mayonnaise, and milk until well blended. Add cheese, onion, and garlic powder. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve warm. Makes 24 biscuits.

Notes

Can use 2c whole-wheat flour instead of 1c whole-wheat and 1c all-purpose flour.
