Russian Tea Cakes

A dainty cookie with nuts, that is rolled in confectioners' sugar. These cookies don't last long and are simply yummy!

Ingredients

1 cup butter 1⁄2 cup confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 1⁄4 cups flour (sifted) 1⁄4 teaspoon salt 3⁄4 cup nuts (finely chopped)

Instructions

Mix together butter, sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and nuts. Chill; roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10–12 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners’ sugar; roll again. Makes 4 dozen 1-inch cookies.
