Nina Fallin

Nina Fallin, a member of God’s Church, a devoted educator and beloved member of her family died on Jan. 29, 2026, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas at the age of 75. Born on Dec. 27, 1950, Nina spent her life sharing her passion for history with her students. As a history teacher at Arkadelphia High School, she spent decades inspiring students with her stories and her genuine love for the craft of teaching. To Nina, her classroom was more than a job; it was a calling.

Nina was called into the church of God in 2017 and was baptized by her brother-in-law David Stiffler. Because of the great distance from church, Nina couldn’t attend every week, but she was a faithful member who enjoyed watching live streaming services, listening to sermons, and reading Church literature. Her love of world history made her especially interested in learning as much as she could about biblical history. The times she could attend services, brought her close to those she befriended and loved.

Her most cherished legacy is her family. She was the steady hand and the warm smile at every family gathering. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Fallin, who died in 2017, as well as her parents Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, and other siblings. Nina’s spirit lives on through the family she adored: daughter Shelly Davidson, and husband Chris; and her son, Joey Fallin. Nina had three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her sharp intellect, her enduring kindness, and the way she made her friends and family feel important and loved.
