2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Blantyre, Malawi
In the Mulanje District, 140 brethren celebrated the soon-coming Kingdom of God.
Likhubula House in the Mulanje District was this year’s Feast site for the Blantyre and Mayaka brethren (140 from both congregations attended here). The house is situated at the foot of the Mulanje Mountain, the biggest and highest mountain in Malawi, covered with large rocks and vegetation. Observing the Feast here was a perfect choice. We were able to enjoy the cool breeze and natural green cover of the forest.
Brethren were fed with spiritual food well prepared by God’s servants. The sermonettes and sermons provided a picture of God’s Kingdom in the Millennium. The brethren enjoyed a foretaste of how abundant and prosperous life will be in the Kingdom of God. Real peace, joy and prosperity will prevail under the able leadership of Jesus Christ. Beautiful and inspiring special music added to the services.
Social activities such as a sack race, hiking and tug of war (renamed “pull for peace”) was a delight to behold. For the past two years, men defeated the women in the tug of war activity, but this year things turned around, and the women defeated the men! The women celebrated while dancing and singing. It was a lot of fun!
A special event also took place. A daughter and two sons were added into the Body of Christ. That is, three baptisms took place in the natural pool of Likhubula River: Carol Ringo, Richard Somanje and Emmanuel Mandala.
Overall, it was a wonderful and enjoyable Feast of Tabernacles this year.
