New Faces at the Home Office
The home office recently added two new staff.
Scott Delamater
Scott Delamater was appointed as operation manager for Media and Communications Services for UCG. His background spans technical and product leadership, and his 25 years of business experience have equipped him to help strengthen this vital area of the work.
Scott is an elder in the Cincinnati East congregation. He also serves as the National Music Coordinator for UCG Feast sites across North America and has volunteered for many years at United Youth Camps in a variety of roles, including Assistant Camp Director and Bible Instruction Lead. In addition to his service in the Church, Scott is also active in his local community, mentoring high school students as a programming coach in a robotics program.
The home office media staff look forward to working with Scott!
Ariel Winger
Ariel Winger was hired in April 2025 as an assistant for Marty Tinkler in the kitchen. Now that Marty has retired, Ariel has taken her place as kitchen services manager.
Ariel graduated from the ABC class of 2022. She has an associate degree from a culinary school.
Special Thanks
Barry Korthuis
The home office would like to thank Barry Korthuis for his over two years of volunteer service as treasurer and financial services operation manager for UCG. An article introducing our new treasurer, Ted Budge, and our new financial services operation manager, Linda Api, was printed in the Sept.-Oct. 2025 United News.
Barry Korthuis stepped in to fill the need, when in 2022, Rick Shabi became President and left an opening in the financial services department, for the roles of both operation manager and treasurer—both of which Barry was well-prepared for, drawing on his years of experience in the field.
He and his wife, Sandy, moved from their home in Colorado to Cincinnati to serve. Barry was happy to volunteer his time to serve UCG.
Following his time as treasurer and financial services operation manager, Barry and Sandy have moved to Des Moines, Iowa to continue their service to God’s people in the congregation. We at the home office are grateful for the generosity and heart of service they have shown.
Marty Tinkler
Marty Tinkler retired from her role as kitchen services manager on Sept. 30, 2025. Besides providing daily lunches for Ambassador Bible College students, Marty has provided meals when the Council of Elders is in town and for other special events. The home office and ABC would like to thank Marty for her service.
