Updates from the UCG operation managers

Ministerial and Member Services

We’re happy to announce that at the beginning of September, Gregory Dullum was appointed an assistant pastor for the congregations in Cape Girardeau and Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Paducah and Henderson, Kentucky, working alongside pastor Doug Collison. 

On Sept. 4, David Goethals was credentialed as an elder by the United Church of God. He and his wife, Patricia, serve in the Tacoma and Olympia, Washington congregations. 

Michael Fike has been appointed pastor for the congregations in Northern Virginia and Columbia, Maryland. He will assume this role when the Fikes relocate to the United States, as current pastor Ray Clore is retiring. Mike will continue to serve as International Senior Pastor for New Zealand. 

On the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 23, three men were ordained into the ministry. Michael Messer and his wife, Sandy, serve the congregation in Phoenix Northwest, Arizona. Mark Kasperson and his wife, Mary Ann, serve the congregation in Lexington, Kentucky. Joe Neff and his wife, Elizabeth, serve the congregations in Spokane, Chewelah and Tri-Cities, Washington where Joe is now assistant pastor. 

On the Sabbath of Sept. 27, Steve Parker was ordained into the ministry. He and his wife, Angela, serve the congregation in Houston, Texas. 

On the Day of Atonement, Oct. 2, two men were ordained into the ministry. Wilson Cinco and his wife, Cecile, serve the congregation in Manila, Philippines. Jason Musgrove and his wife, Tonya, serve the congregations in Cincinnati, Ohio where Jason is now assistant pastor.

Steve Myers

Steve is the Operation Manager for Ministerial and Member Services of the United Church of God. He is also an instructor at Ambassador Bible College and served as a host on the Beyond Today television program.  Together, he and his wife, Kathe, have served God and His people for over 30 years.
