Updates from the UCG operation managers

Ministerial and Member Services

We’re happy to announce that in mid-June, Devin Schulz began to pastor the congregations in Des Moines, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska, replacing Mitch Knapp who has retired. Mr. Schulz will also pastor Cedar Rapids, Iowa, replacing David Schreiber. Mr. Schreiber will continue pastoring Southern Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin.

David Fitch was appointed pastor for the Elkhart, Indiana; Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Lansing, Michigan congregations, replacing Devin Schulz.

On June 21, Johnnie Lambert retired from the pastoral ministry; Ron Bell now pastors the Buffalo and Elmira, New York congregations.

On July 5, David Bensinger was ordained into the ministry. He and his wife, Debbie, serve the congregation in Boise, Idaho.

In mid-July, Jeff Lockhart was appointed the pastor of the congregation in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Alisa, also continue to serve the Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica congregations.

Please remember to support and pray for these faithful men and their wives as they take on new responsibilities in serving God’s people. May their efforts be blessed by God—and may more be moved to step forward in service as the need continues to grow.
