2026 Camp Report: Ironwood
Camp Ironwood was blessed with enthusiastic campers, teens, parents and even a few grandparents from 13 states, including Minnesota.
The camp included 106 preteens (including 17 mini-dorm campers ages 5 and under—plus a few of our little ones under one year old!), 28 teens and 75 adults, who enjoyed four days of living, playing and working together God’s way in the beautiful country setting of Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch in southern Minnesota.
We were blessed to welcome several staff members who attended Camp Ironwood as children during its early years. They have now returned with children of their own, wanting them to experience the same friendships, spiritual lessons and lasting memories that shaped their own lives. Seeing a second generation embrace Camp Ironwood’s mission was a special reminder of God’s blessings over the past 26 years.
Each morning began with Christian living classes for three separate groups—campers, teens and adult staff—all centered on our camp theme: “Be My Disciple and Follow Me!” Through Scripture, they discovered what it means to follow Christ: to learn from His example, listen to Him and obey His teachings, and develop a lifelong relationship with Him. Our theme Scripture was Luke 9:23. The whole camp enjoyed the new Jelly video, as Jelly and Captain Finn shared their fishing adventure and taught everyone a lively song about following Jesus.
Throughout the day, campers participated in a wide variety of activities, including ziplining, horseback riding, slip-and-slide, team challenge, creek walk, field games, archery and slingshot, climbing wall, petting zoo, swimming and arts and crafts. Evening activities included a campfire sing-along, novelty Olympics, a treasure hunt, a carnival and dancing with Jelly.
We are very thankful for the support of the home office, the dedicated service of our amazing camp staff, and the many contributions and prayers from local brethren. Above all, we give thanks and praise to God for blessing us with another memorable year at Camp Ironwood!
