We welcome all preteen campers (ages 5-12) to the East Texas Piney Woods for this year’s South Central Region UCG Preteen Camp at Camp Gilmont. Prepare to experience a tremendous four-day camp experience where you will learn about our awesome God, make new friends and have fun in a caring, positive environment. Nestled on over 400 acres of lush forest, hills, and lakes, Camp Gilmont is located just northeast of Gilmer, Texas. This year’s camp will run from Sunday, July 27 to Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
Each day at Camp Gilmont will include a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, beginning with Christian living classes that reinforce the fact that God’s way of life works. Campers will enjoy swimming in the pool, canoeing and engaging in various sports such as basketball, gaga ball and more. Other activities include arts and crafts, team-building exercises and plenty of open play time under the pavilion with a variety of games to choose from!
We are seeking dedicated and patient teens and adults to volunteer as counselors, activity coordinators, and staff members to serve in all areas of camp.
Camp Gilmont offers a unique and fun-filled experience with genuine Texas hospitality (and hopefully mild temperatures!). We would love for you to join us this summer.
