We’re excited to return to our new facility, Camp Lazarus, in Delaware, Ohio, located just 30 minutes north of Columbus, after a fantastic first year there!
Camp Buckeye will still begin on the last Sunday in July, and our goal remains the same: to create an environment where children ages 6-12 can focus on living God’s way of life. We aim to make a positive difference in their lives and encourage them to connect with other children who share that same goal. Camper dorms will be organized by age group.
This year, we’ll offer a variety of activities, including archery, BB guns, the Amazing Race, arts and crafts, fishing, field games and swimming, along with the possibility of a couple of new activities. Our camp theme will align with the teen camps’ theme, “Build on the Foundation.” We will use this theme to discuss with the campers the importance of letting God lead and guide our life.
We are always looking for volunteer staff who have patience and a strong desire to provide the safe atmosphere that we call “the Zone,” which is critically important to the success of the program.
