At Camp Colorado, campers experience an incredible week of growth, fun and faith as they learn how to follow God and become all that He is calling them to be.
We’re inviting campers ages 5–13 to take part in an amazing preteen camp experience set in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. Preteen Camp Colorado is held at Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center in Allenspark, Colorado, just 16 miles south of Estes Park and near Rocky Mountain National Park. With warm days, cool mountain evenings and stunning scenery in every direction, it’s the perfect place for adventure and connection.
Preteen Camp Colorado is intentionally designed to encourage, strengthen and build lasting relationships, while always pointing campers toward a growing relationship with God as future sons and daughters of His coming Kingdom. Each day blends physical challenges with spiritual growth, helping campers learn perseverance, teamwork and faith through hands-on experiences.
Camp activities include:
- Christian living classes
- Nature hikes and mountain exploration
- Shimmying through rock crevices
- Outdoor sports like archery and canoeing/kayaking/paddleboarding
- Axe throwing (plastic and kid-safe!) and slingshots
- Arts and crafts
- Campfires with sing-alongs
- A youth choir featuring our campers and teen staff
Each day begins with a Christian living class, setting the foundation for everything that follows. Our camp theme is woven throughout all activities, and campers see God’s way lived out as our staff supports, encourages and walks alongside them. At Camp Colorado, we strive to show campers daily that God’s way works—and that it is truly a blessing. Campers leave with meaningful friendships, unforgettable memories and godly lessons that can last a lifetime.
Camp Colorado is a family camp, and we love when the whole family is involved. We warmly welcome parents, teens, dads and young adults to join us and serve on staff as part of what makes this camp so special.
