UYC Camp Pinecrest
In 2026, we’re pumped to head back to Camp Pinecrest in southeast Missouri for another powerful week together. Pinecrest is a place where you can slow down, focus on God, and build real connections with people who are walking the same path of faith. Over the years, this camp has become known for traditions that point us back to God, some long-standing, others created by campers and staff who pour their hearts into seeking God throughout the week.
At Pinecrest, the whole atmosphere invites you to experience the joy, unity, and purpose God wants for us. Every morning we kick things off together with a Christian Living talk that helps center our hearts on God before we dive into the activities ahead. Our Bible Classes and Q&A sessions give you space to ask real questions, explore Scripture deeply, and discover how God’s Word speaks into your everyday life.
Dorms are set up “family style,” mixing ages so everyone has someone to look up to, someone to support, and a place where you feel like you belong from day one.
Activities
Campers get to dive into tons of activities that push them, challenge them, and let them try new things. From outdoor adventures that build confidence and teamwork to creative and competitive indoor options, there’s always something going on. You can jump into archery, arts & crafts, Bible class, dance, field sports, paddleboarding, riflery, a full-day river float trip, teambuilding challenge, volleyball, and more.
Every year, one of the biggest requests we hear is for more chill time. And we get it! Friendships are a huge part of the UYC experience, and teens truly value the bonds formed at camp. At Camp Pinecrest, we make space for that by offering open-gym hangouts where you can jump into pickup games, hit the gaga ball pit, play volleyball or basketball, or just relax and connect with friends.
Staff
Camp Pinecrest wouldn’t be what it is without our incredible, dedicated staff. They’re the ones who help create the Christ-centered atmosphere that makes camp such a meaningful experience year after year. Many of our counselors and staff keep coming back because they’ve built real connections with the campers they serve and want to keep pouring into those relationships.
One of the things we’re most grateful for is how our staff continues to grow from within. So many campers “age out” and immediately want to return—not as campers, but as leaders. These campers-turned-staff have embraced “the Zone” and God’s way of life, and now they’re excited to give back and carry on the traditions that make Camp Pinecrest so special.
If you’re interested in joining our team, staff applicants must be 18 or older and recommended by their pastor. All staff are required to complete pre-camp training, and certain roles may need additional skills or certifications.
