UYC Camp Pinecrest
We are excited to announce that for 2025, we will once again be returning to Camp Pinecrest in southeast Missouri for another unforgettable week of camp. Camp Pinecrest offers an incredible setting for our campers to grow in their relationships with God and one another.
Immerse yourself in an environment that encourages fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. Each day begins with a Christian living discussion, where we come together as a camp family to set the tone for the day. From there, we engage in a variety of activities that allow us to connect with God and with each other. Bible classes and Q&A sessions provide additional opportunities to explore God's Word, while dorms are organized “family style” (multi-age) to encourage the development of leadership skills and provide support for every camper.
Activities
Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities designed to challenge them both physically and mentally. From outdoor skill-building exercises to indoor creative outlets, there is something for everyone. Our activities include archery, arts and crafts, Bible class, dance, field sports, paddleboarding, riflery, an all-day river float trip, teambuilding challenges and volleyball. We’re also working to bring back our rock climbing and rappelling activity this summer if we can bring the right staff together!
One of the most requested features of our camp each year is “more fellowship time.” Relationships are an important part of the UYC program, and the friendships that develop over the years are cherished by our teens. To foster these connections, we offer open gym times for activities like pickup games, gaga ball, volleyball, basketball or simply relaxing with friends.
Location & Arrival
Camp Pinecrest is located just 100 miles south of St. Louis, near Fredericktown, Missouri. For those traveling by air, the St. Louis airport is about a two-hour drive away. We will provide free transportation directly to and from camp for campers arriving by air.
Staff should plan to arrive in the area on June 28 for training and orientation, and then relocate to Camp Pinecrest at noon on June 29. Campers should plan to arrive on Sunday, June 29, between 2-4 p.m. Both staff and campers will depart on Sunday, July 6, 2025, between 8:30 and 10 a.m.
