Beyond Today Is Moving Its Saturday Airtime on the Word Network
The Beyond Today television program, sponsored by the United Church of God, is currently airing on the Word Network on Sundays, Fridays and Saturdays. While viewership and response has been very good for Sunday and Friday, our Saturday time position has been underperforming for the past several weeks.
Therefore beginning on Saturday, January 2, 2016, we will move our program from its current airtime of 6:30 p.m. (ET) to 11:30 p.m. (ET) for a five-week period. Making this change will give us the opportunity to test the overall effectiveness of this new timeslot. Although this airtime may seem late, we have evidence from previous testing that it could perform reasonably well. If it does prove satisfactory we may elect to continue airing beyond the test period, otherwise we will cancel our Saturday airtime option.
So, moving forward, here is an update for Beyond Today coast-to-coast programming on the Word Network:
- Sunday 11:00 a.m. ET, 10:00 a.m. CT, 9:00 a.m. MT, 8:00 a.m. PT
- Friday 4:00 p.m. ET, 3:00 p.m. CT, 2:00 p.m. MT, 1:00 p.m. PT
- Saturday 11:30 p.m. ET, 10:30 p.m. CT, 9:30 p.m. MT, 8:30 p.m. PT
As a reminder, the Word Network is available in over 200 countries reaching viewers in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. It reaches 86 million homes in the United States alone through DirecTV, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Cox, Cablevision, Charter and other cable operators— and another 9 million homes on Sky TV in the United Kingdom.
Once again, we are deeply grateful for your diligent prayers for the success of the Church’s efforts to preach the gospel of the Kingdom throughout the world.
