Drought Relief Update - December 2025

In 2024, a severe drought struck Southern Africa, primarily affecting our brethren in Zimbabwe. Through your very generous donations, we raised almost double the amount needed for immediate needs at that time! This was an incredible blessing to God’s people in that area and helped to sustain them through a difficult season. We have also begun identifying areas where borehole wells can be drilled, to hopefully safeguard our members from future drought conditions. 

In December of 2025, the remainder of those funds raised were used to aid our brethren in Malawi, as they also faced drought conditions. In the central region, the drought led to food shortages, so bags of food were distributed to families in Lilongwe and Nkhwazi. In the southern region, there were slightly more rains, so our members were able to harvest enough food to support themselves, but not enough to begin farming for the next season, so farming implements were provided to give the brethren a hand up as they headed into the current rainy season.
