Opportunities for Growth
After a night of awesome and in-depth talks, the morning started with some really fun team-building activities. This whole experience so far has shown me the importance of changing perspectives on how you view life.
Being with the children has already opened my eyes. They are just completely accepting and yearning for love. I’m continually reminded that they are the sole purpose of this journey, and to make even a small impact on a child would be priceless.
Today we sang “How Great Thou Art” in music class, and at the end, all the voices really came together when the song switched into English. It was simply amazing to hear these kids sing praises to God’s name in one voice.
Each and every day presents situations and opportunities to grow in God’s way, whether it be with the kids or the amazing teamwork we have as a group. I feel very blessed to be in this situation. I have confidence that God is with our hearts and minds, so we can truly make an impact here.
