Maryland Teens Serve in Community Service Project
The teens of the Columbia, Maryland, congregation reached out to the community by collecting donated items for a local orphanage run by St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore.
In addition to the orphanage, St. Vincent de Paul also offers numerous services for homeless families including housing. The teens contributed to a project called “Beans and Bread.” The project distributes over 200 personal care bags each month to homeless families.
Around 200 one-gallon bags of snack items and hygiene items were filled for the orphans and homeless families. Clothing items were also collected.
