Several Portsmouth, Ohio, brethren recently came together for an Enrichment Weekend Retreat Dec. 8-10 on the grounds of Butler Springs Camp. The weekend focused on numerous facets surrounding the topic of forgiveness.

Friday evening kicked off with a Bible study followed by a dessert social before everyone went off to their bunk beds in the two dorm style cabins. Sabbath morning brought two seminars before lunch, followed by Sabbath services and a game social after sunset. Mixer style games were included, which allowed us to learn more about each other. Sunday morning brought a nature walk, as well as another seminar with a panel discussion and interaction with the participants.

There were so many positives this weekend from the abundance of delicious food, a beautiful snowfall on the Sabbath, service by so many brethren, meaningful conversation, detail to decorations and of course learning about forgiveness and reconciliation. Positive comments were heard from a variety of participants. We’re looking forward to repeating this again in the future!
