Southwest camp

2016
1 minute read time
Plan to join us again this winter in Arizona’s beautiful Estrella Mountains from Dec. 23-26, 2016, for a fun-filled family camp.

The Southwest Preteen Camp is packed full of games, crafts, and activities including: Christian living, compass checks, horseback riding, arts and crafts, field games, campfire activities, and much more. Our camp is a family campout, so preteens, their parents, and the entire family can experience camp together. Children from the ages of 4 to 12 are welcome to come as campers, but younger children can also come with their families as we will have activities for kids as young as one year. Our goal is to provide an environment for the entire family to learn, talk, and share God’s truths while in His creation.

Just minutes from many modern conveniences, the Southwest Preteen Camp location at the Estrella Mountain Regional Park is nestled away from the hub-bub and has space for tent camping, pop-up campers, or RVs depending on how your family likes to camp. If you are not a camper, other housing options are available nearby. We encourage older siblings (over age 13) and parents of our preteen campers to apply for staff. Last year we had a great group of 36 campers, and we have room to accommodate more.
