United Youth Camps

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, at the base of Mt. Meeker, is Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center, once again the location for Camp Colorado in 2018. We are meeting June 17-20, so the weather should be fabulous, and it will surely be a great time to enjoy evening campfires and sing-alongs. We have had moose and deer amble through our camp, and we are hoping to spot an elk!

Estes Park is only 16 miles away, home of the Rocky Mountain National Park and gorgeous views of mountains, nature and wildlife.

Our most important goal is to provide a safe, spiritually enriching environment for our preteens and our teen and adult staff. And we want them to have lots of fun too! We will learn more of God’s way through compass checks and Christian living class messages given by a variety of staff members. Our preteens also get involved and excited about our daily Bible challenge games around the campfire. Once again our children will have an opportunity to learn to serve and to exemplify Christ-like traits.

We will enjoy archery, canoeing, nature hikes, arts and crafts, field games and multi-ball, which is a combination of challenging sports. Teen and adult staff members are eager to make camp a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please consider joining us at Camp Colorado this June!
