On Aug. 18, 2021, Salvatore Cimino was re-credentialed as an elder by the United Church of God.
He and his wife, JoAnn, serve in the Charlotte, North Carolina, congregation.
Retired pastor Dave Mills has been serving as an interim pastor for the congregations in Macon and Columbus, Georgia, since the death of pastor Ken Martin on Aug. 21.
On Sept. 4, Ken Loucks was ordained into the ministry. He and his wife, Becca, serve in the Portland, Oregon, congregation. On the Day of Atonement, Sept. 16, Josphat Gakuo was ordained into the ministry. He and his wife, Zipporah, serve in the Nairobi, Kenya, congregation. During the Feast of Tabernacles, Sept. 21, Mark Nyakwara was ordained into the ministry. He serves in the Magenche, Kenya, congregation.
