The Challenges of Discipleship

If we allow Scripture to define discipleship, it becomes clear that following Jesus Christ is not presented as an easy path. Christ consistently taught that discipleship involves sacrifice, perseverance, obedience, spiritual growth, and endurance.

Scott McKeon

Scott McKeon serves as pastor for the Phoenix Northwest and Northern Arizona congregations of the United Church of God.  He resides in Cave Creek, AZ with his wife Carrie and three young adult children.  He attended Ambassador University, where he obtained a Bachelors in Business Administration, and University of Arizona, where he obtained an MBA. In Scott's career he has helped companies design and implement their IT infrastructure as a technology service provider.  His hobbies include reading, swimming, cycling, and occasionally a little game of water polo.
