When you read and think about Israel’s wandering in the desert for 40 years, their inheritance of the Promised Land, and final captivity… what do you think? How could they be so blind, stiff-necked, and disobedient? They had it all and threw it away! Do you ever say to yourself, “if I was an Israelite back then, I wouldn’t have had a problem obeying and following God”. Unfortunately, we are no different today. How, you may ask? Today we will define what does not love God and how do we love God. We should come to a better understanding of the one thing that comes between God and us… and that is us.
