3. We need to consider once our sins are passed over, are we free to continue in sin?
--we do not continue a life of sin.
4. We need to confess and forsake our sins before God.
--we see our sin and do not want to fall prey to sin.
5. Do not try to cover up your sins.
--we can't hide sin from God. Only God can cover our sins.
6. Ask for God's help, for God's Spirit.
--come to God with a humble heart, looking to Him for help.
7. God is willing to reconcile with us and heal the breech caused by sin.
--we need to want to reconcile with him, be serious about drawing close to God.
8. Ponder the stories in the Bible of those who confessed their sins.
--Nehemiah 1:5-7 true prayer of confession
9. Look and be alert for sin
--Lamentations 2:14-15 no attempt to alert the people caused Israel to be profane.
10. Examine yourself in regards to sin. Discern yourself.
--Do I allow Christ to live in me? Do I have His fruits?
11. When we see our sin, it should make us sorry.
--Godly sorrow, sorry for the heartache it caused God, yourself, and others
12. Our sorrow should lead to repentance and repentance leads to salvation.
