So, we're ready now for the main message today. Did you know, among many others, that scientists in this last century have made three great discoveries that shocked them? This was not what they expected. And actually, it's a scientific revolution that's taking place in all of these areas that I'm going to mention.

So, there have been three great discoveries that scientists did not expect at all. The first one, in the 1920s, when they discovered that the universe consists of billions of galaxies, and that it is all expanding outward. And so, as scientists understood the consequences of this, because you can rewind time down in all of these galaxies and stars, as you go back in time, it gets smaller and smaller until it disappears.

And so, the universe had a beginning, and it wasn't like this tiny atom contained all the galaxies. It actually was everything appeared at one time and is expanding outward, like a balloon in time. That shocked the scientific world because they knew what it implied. It implied that the universe was created at a moment of time. And so, how do you get the creation if you don't have a creator? So, they knew directly that that implied there is a creator. There has to be something that initiated the universe with matter and light and energy, all of this.

And it was very elegantly designed. The universe was not some chaotic explosion. It was everything had laws that were fine-tuned. And that's the second great discovery that they made later in the 20th century, is the fine-tuning of the universe.

Fine-tuning, you remember the radios that we had, they had a fine-tuning that you had to get the right wavelength to be able to listen to sound. The fine-tuning, well, they have found that the universe is fine-tuned to the nth degree. There's so much preparation, so much to be able to carry that out. That shocked because it implied if you have a fine-tuning, you have to have a fine-tuner.

You have to have somebody that's finely tuned everything. It doesn't happen on its own. Matter and energy cannot tune things. They're just the consequences of being created that way. And the third great discovery was in the 1950s, with the discovery of how life reproduces and the discovery of the DNA code inside the cells. And all the cells in general, in the body, have the same DNA code, which is like this vast library with all of these books about instructing them to carry out certain things.

That shocked biologists when they saw the mind-boggling complexity of the DNA molecule. It's actually about six feet long. If you took it out of the cell and you unwound the thing, it would be about six feet in length.

And so what I want to focus on is about this third point, because more discoveries have been made about how this DNA operates, how it functions. It has shocked the scientific world, and it doesn't go along with their idea that things have just evolved in time. And I cannot emphasize enough how this complexity, just like with the universe expanding, the fine-tuning, well, the cells are fine-tuned to the nth degree.

And this is shocking. To the biological world, they are silenced because they can't explain it through evolution. And so what I want to show you today is how the first chapter of Genesis gives us two biological laws that operate today. As we are sitting here, these laws are inside of us. Just like there are laws that govern the universe, about basically 32 laws that govern how the universe functions. Well, we also have biological laws, and they were in the book of Genesis, the first chapter, all along.

So I want to take you on this journey to show you how exact this first chapter is, dealing with this third-grade discovery about DNA and how it works. So let's go to Genesis 1, and we're going to start in Genesis 1, verse 8.

Genesis 1, verse 8, it says, And God called the firmament heaven, that's the atmosphere, so the evening and the morning were the second day. So God reordered the earth, the atmosphere, to make it suitable for the coming of the plants and animals and humans that we see today. And so, in verse 9, the third day begins, and it says, And God called the dry land earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called seas, what we call oceans. And God saw that it was good. Everything was assembled right. Everything was fine-tuned to the nth degree.

Then God said, let the earth, now this is the first key verse we want to focus on. Then God said, let the earth bring forth grass. These are plant life. God begins not with animal life, but plant life. Plant life is what provides the food for animals. It's through photosynthesis that you see here, that animals are able to eat from plants and grow and develop.

We cannot produce our own food. Plants can through photosynthesis. It says, to bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit, as we heard in the first message about the trees. And all of these have seeds that are able to have the DNA instructions to create another tree, just like the one we see. The seed is actually talking about that genetic information that provides the instructions to build another tree. And the fruit tree that yields fruit according to what? According to its kind. So the first biological law here is the one that says that all life reproduces according to its kind. So, cats, what do they reproduce to?

Cats. Have you ever seen a cat produce a dog or a squirrel? No. See, this is the law called biogenesis, which means that life can only come from life. That's why God had to provide the seed with the first plants so they could reproduce. This is not something that evolution blindly came up with the first seed. No. God created it. He fine-tuned that seed to be able to reproduce according to its kind, whose seed is in itself on the earth, and so God created all the information to create a tree to create us.

When mothers have babies, they have the genetic code, and mixed with the male chromosomes, it produces a child according to their kind, the father and the mother. So this is the first time, this biological principle, that rules all the biology today. There are no exceptions to it. The only thing that can happen is if radiation comes and damages the chromosomes, then you're not going to have something produced after its kind. It's a mutation, it's defective, usually it dies. But the principle is that life can only come from life, it doesn't come from non-life, and that it has a genetic blueprint in order to reproduce according to its kind.

So I want you to count how many times it says this in Genesis, because God is emphasizing. Okay, so in Genesis 11, we have what number? How many times does it say it here? Once. Let's go on. In verse 2, 12. And the earth brought forth grass, the earth that yield seed, according to its kind. So God brought that all to fruition from the earth, from the ground. It didn't come from all kinds of evolutionary accidents. No, it came intentionally from the ground, according to its kind. Okay, that's what? Number two. And the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself, according to its kind.

Number three. And God saw that it was good. Okay, and now we're going to jump to the next section in Genesis 1. So we got three times it's repeated. Let's go to verse 22. Yes, correct. I have it here. Verse 21, it has it twice more. So God created great sea creatures.

And every living thing that moves with which the waters abounded, according to their kind. So God starts filling the oceans with animals that would reproduce according to their kind. What do whales make? Jorge, what do whales make? That's right, whales. Have you ever seen anything that doesn't? See, this is the first law of biology, and Darwin said, well, we're not sure because it can eventually, a whale can become an elephant or something else.

And the fossil record, which is the history of life from the beginning to today, does not show any evolution taking place where one animal becomes another animal. That is in a gradual transformation to another. You have all these animals from bacteria. And by the way, they have in the University of Chicago, they have been doing this since the 1960s, reproducing bacteria.

They've got 40,000 different generations. And guess what? They still are producing bacteria. It hasn't evolved. And so here we have it. It says that every living thing that moves with which the water is abounded, all the fish, according to their kind. Number four. And every winged bird, according to its kind.

If you see a parrot, what does a parrot produce? Parrots! It doesn't produce eagles or vultures. So you see, this is a big lie because it's not in the fossil record. No laboratory is able to pass these genetic walls. You have variety within the species, but you can't have it trans-pass or pass over those boundaries that God set up after its kind. And so verse 22 now gives us the second great biological principle. If I was teaching biology, I'd start with Genesis 1.1 and the first chapter and explain these two great biological principles. And I could make a whole history from the beginning, the first cells found on the earth all the way to today.

And it's still according to its kind. Here's a second great biological principle, Genesis 1. It says, verse 22, about the animals. And God blessed them. This means that He set them apart for a purpose, special purpose. And of course, it is to provide a home and provide the food that humans were going to need.

They are a positive addition. We have cats and dogs and all kinds of mascots that God created for us because He said these are going to be a blessing to mankind. And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful to all the animals and multiply.

And fill the waters and the seas and let the birds multiply on the earth. So here's a second great biological principle, which we're going to develop even more. And that is that God not only made the animals to multiply and to produce after their own kind, but also the adaptation, the biological law of adaptation. When He said, fill the earth, He knew that there were going to be all kinds of different environments, all kinds of stressful pressures on these creatures.

And if He did not have a way for them to adapt, they wouldn't survive. And so that is the great discovery now that they have found in the last 15 years, is all of these genetic switches that are inside the genes and also outside the genes in the cells that provide the genes. Inside the control system to turn on and turn off the genes, the instructions, when to turn them on, when to turn them off. So I'd like Daniel Aguilar to come forward. We've got a little kind of show here that I want to show you, an illustration.

Daniel's going to help me. Now, one of the hardest places where fish can live are inside subterranean caves. And in Mexico, they have the small tetra fish, which Daniel's going to show you, a tetra fish. How many have had aquariums with tetra fish? A couple? I think Rebecca, didn't you have a little tetra fish? We had them. They're like guppies that we have. Okay, so this is the Mexican tetra fish. And by the way, it's not just in Mexico that it happens, but it's very common to do this.

Now, this tetra fish, sometimes, maybe because of a big rainstorm, these little fish, they get swept into these caves, which are so deep and dark, there's absolutely no sunlight. How are they going to find the food inside? How are they going to survive? Well, this is what scientists have discovered. And by the way, I have here... We can start with Enrique, or here are the tetra fish. You can pass it out to Enrique. You'll see here, this tetra fish will go inside the cave. And what did God say when he blessed the animals?

What did he say to fill the earth? Does that mean caves, too? Is God smart enough to have fish adapt inside these caves? Yes. And that's what scientists have been, again, shocked at what they have found. Okay, so Daniel, go ahead and put the little tetra fish inside the cave. Alright. After weeks, what happens in the genetic code and outside of the genetic code is called the epigenetic code, which is a separate code that doesn't contain the information.

And it controls the switches on and off to be able to turn the genes on or off, or make them stronger or weaker, like dimmer lights. And so, okay, we're going to do a little magic here. Okay, I have here switches. I have a switch and I have a dimmer. Here's the dimmer. Here's the switch. So, okay, this poor tetra fish finds himself in the darkest place. How many have been in these deep caves that are famous around the United States?

You go in and then they turn the lights off. You put your hand to your face and you can't see your hand. It's so dark.

I've had that experience. Okay, so, are we worried now? Is Darwin and evolution is going to figure out how these tetra fish that got stuck in the subterranean area? How are they going to mutate and be able to create this new living system? No! It's these genetic switches. In the human genome, that's the whole thing, they have found four million switches. This is just one. And besides that, you have this epigenetic code, which is the conductor of the orchestra. The music is the genetic code, but it is this epigenetic, which means it's above the genetic system. It's the conductor. It tells the genes how to play, when to turn on, when to turn off, when the horn plays, when it does it.

And so, what you have here... Okay, I'm going to have Daniel go ahead and start. What happens? The system, the little fish starts getting the sensors, saying, you're in complete darkness. It's cold in here. How are you going to find food? So, okay. The sensors start turning on, and then the dimmer starts switching. And after some time, what does the fish look like? It's a blind Tetra fish. It has turned off the features that are no longer necessary, like the eyes and the pigmentation. Don't need it.

And what it turns on is a radar system. That the body now has a radar system similar to cars. If you have a car that's too close to you, it turns a light on on your mirror. And so, it has these blind sensory systems that turn on. So, if it's getting too close to the wall, it detects it. It also has developed a sensory system through sucking.

It's like another radar. It's like what bats have. And so, after a few generations, you go to the deepest part, you shine a light. There's a happy little fish. It knows how to eat. It knows how to survive. Okay, Daniel. And what happens now if you put it in here, and okay, supposing there's this earthquake, and the cavern collapses, cracks, the water flows out, and you have these blind Tetra fish.

Now, they're in the lake! Oh my! Cold Darwin! Tell them! Please! We need these things to mutate! No! The genetic switches. Turn them on and off. Okay. And what comes out now? Ah! We have the Tetra fish again. After a few generations, mixing, it has eyes, it has pigmentation, it adapts. Why? Because the second law of biology shown in Genesis 1, tells us, yes, you failed the entire earth. God made animals to adapt to their environment. Just like even human beings, they're stuck out there in the Arctic. It's cold! You can freeze to death! What happens? Some populations, the switches get turned on, the dimmer switches, and pretty soon, Eskimos.

They can survive! Well, we would freeze to death! Why? Because their genetic system, the switches are turned on and off. Thank you for that. Let's give them a round of applause. Take that back with you. Oh, here is another one. Don't forget the good one. Okay. So, we're showing just one example. Now, I could show you Darwin's finches. He said, oh, look how these beaks got bigger and little. It doesn't have to do with mutations. It has to do with these switches. If there's a dry season, there's a drought, and then the seeds are very hard, and the beak size changes.

But what happened afterwards? After the rains came, then the switches get turned on again, and you have the regular beak size. So, they flow from getting bigger or smaller according to their needs. So, this is a biological law that affects trees, because they have sensors in order to survive. If there's a drought, they know how to conserve water. And you have the Eskimos in the Arctic, and you have the Bedouins that live in the Sahara Desert.

And all these genetic switches are always coming on and off. And guess what, brethren? Scientists know this, but you see, they don't want to give up their wrong basis, the wrong premise. I want to read you from a scientist, Michael Eggnord, what he wrote in 2021 in the magazine Evolution News. He says, to understand the stranglehold that atheism has on many modern scientists, consider that with the discovery of the genetic code of DNA, scientists didn't immediately acknowledge or recognize the evidence for intelligent design.

They knew this could not have evolved gradually and randomly. It is a scandal that atheism has such an emotional and intellectual hold on so many scientists that it corrupts their science and leads them to deny what is obvious to any objective scientist.

It's obvious that evidence is overwhelming, and that the silence of the scientists are also overwhelming. They don't want to recognize the truth about it. And so, what lessons can we learn to apply some of these lessons and truths? Number one, Genesis 1 shows two biological laws that God created in animals to adapt to their environment. Darwin was wrong about the cause of that adaptation. It's not mutation and natural selection.

That is a trivial part of it. Mutation is when you have a genetic mistake in the code, and it has been shown that this cannot add information, nor can it increase the efficiency of it. Mutations are damaging. And so, that's not the creative process that we see out here.

Scientists are not honest about it, and their silence is deafening. There's astounding complexity. That's why you don't hear so much, because they're overwhelmed when they study. Anybody studying biology at all in college, or whatever? If you start studying genetics and biology, you will see that it is just stunning how they don't want to explain what is so obvious to them about intelligent design. There has to be an intelligent designer. In Romans 1, verse 18 and 20, it tells us about how people would start worshipping the creation and not the creator. There was a Greek philosopher who had already come up with that during Paul's day, but it was going to happen even more as end times appear. Before God would intervene in world affairs, men would become more and more atheistic denials of God as the creator. Notice what it says in Romans 1, verse 18. It says, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. They're suppressing it through the system of politics and false religion and false science as such. We love science, but let's be honest about it, because there can be false science. In 1 Timothy 6, Paul mentions about what is falsely called science, because there is a false science, and part of that is evolution. That was just one guess that Darwin had. It turned out to be false. He didn't know about those four million switches that control variation and not mutation as a cause. It says here, So it's because of their lifestyles and their wrong beliefs. They will not give it up, despite all the mounting evidence. It says, It says, He's all powerful, because who can create something this great? He is all-knowing. He's all good. Who would take all that time just to be able to create human beings to share eternity with? Who would do all of these, put four million genetic switches that have sensors to turn on and off so we can adapt?

That's why Christ said that God loves us so much, He has the hairs on our head counted. No mother knows how many hairs their children have. God knows. Every day He knows. So, of course, He's a God of love. His invisible attributes of His power and intelligence are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made. Even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. There is no real excuse for it. And this is why this world is so messed up. They're following the wrong God. It's with a letter G, not capital, not capitalized, but this system around us. They worship the God of materialism, they worship the God of egoism, of money, of power, and all of these things that we see the damage. It says in verse 21, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. That's why they teach you that, well, we came from monkeys, and these are our ancestors. Well, if we came from monkeys, where are the half-monkey, half-men? Why do you not see that in any fossil record? Dara knew the fossil record did not back him, and he said, well, my excuse is that it's incomplete, but they will find these half-men, half-monkey one day. They haven't found them! The whole fossil record now has been studied in all seven continents, and it's the same record. The two biological laws in Genesis are confirmed. Life can only come from life, and it has the ability to change, and because of the genetics involved.

So, what lessons besides this? We see the two biological features in Genesis 1. Number 2. Our health and habits affect these genetic switches. That's a discovery only last 15 years. They discovered that genes themselves are like books in this library. And then you have this system that pulls the books out, connects them, copies them, adds and mixes what's necessary. But this epigenetic, this system that is conducting this, is very sensitive. You can damage it. And how do you damage it? For instance, in Holland, during World War II. And by the way, I don't think John Visser is here, right? I don't think they can make it. But he was one of these that lived during World War II in Holland. And the lack of food was so extreme that mothers that had children during that time, because they didn't have enough nutrition, the epigenetic switches did not work properly. And that generation of kids had all kinds of problems because the switches were not working properly. At the same time, they had found also that binge eating and binge drinking affects these switches as well. So if you overeat, and for instance in Sweden, they had farmers, when they had bumper crops, they would just go and eat and eat. And a scientist traced the results of that, and they lost about 30 years of their life, because it damaged the genetic instructions that were being given.

These bring about diseases and cancer.

And so there are four changes that they found. It can help our epigenetic system to be able to properly switch on and off all of these switches. First is no smoking. If you're smoking, you're doing damage. These genetic switches are not turning on and off, as they should. Number two, eating a healthy diet. And I would say eating a healthy biblical diet.

That promotes the switches from being healthy. Can you imagine they're being turned on and off? They've got actually, in this system of conducting, they have tags that they've put inside the genome. And it's just like tags in their luggage. Now, when you go to the airport, they say, where's your tag? Because if it gets lost, we want to know where it's at. Well, these have genetic tags, so they're identified, and they're pulled out or not pulled out accordingly. So if you're missing some of these, then instead of switching them off, the thing keeps on and on, and that produces cancer, for instance, among other reasons. So eating a healthy biblical diet is going to promote that health. Number three, again, these are studies that have been made.

Number three, having positive and spiritual attitudes. Your body knows when you are happy inside, when you're at peace, when you're relaxed, you don't let the stress just overdo it, because that changes the genetic switches. It confuses them, it contaminates them, so it says here that that's why people that have a positive and spiritual attitude, positive in their way of looking, and the spiritual well-being produces a positive attitude. And fourth is regular exercise. That also helps these genetic switches working away. They've had multiple studies. I have an enormous amount of background information I can give you on all these things.

And so our health and habits, this is the second point, affect these genetic switches.

People can sometimes say, well, I just have this bad health, I just inherited it. No, you can do something about it. That's what they have discovered. And so the third and last principle has to do with the spiritual element of truth. Truth will free us not only from lies, but also it promotes health, it promotes a positive life.

Evolution has been revealed to be a great lie. It's not fact-driven, but religiously driven. Because an atheist, he worships God with a small g, the God of creation here, the God of nature, but without having any physical being or spiritual being. Darwin knew what he was doing when he wrote that book, The Origin of the Species. He wrote to his good friend, Joseph Hooker, his best friend, before he published it. And he called himself the Devil's Chaplain, which means priest. He was going to be a priest of the devil to mankind to perpetrate something like this. He knew what he was doing. He had a chip on his shoulder with God, because his 10-year-old daughter, when she got sick and really got deathly sick, he got mad at God when she died. He said, I'm going to get back at you. So there's this hate involved in these books, in this book. To finish, let's go to 1 John 2, verse 21. 1 John 2, verse 21. I want to read it in the Bible. The basic Bible in English, BBE. It says, I have not sent you this letter because you have no knowledge of what is true, but because you have knowledge, and because that which is false has nothing in common with that which is true. So you see, you start out with the wrong premise, you're going to end up in the wrong place. You start out with the right premise, you'll end up in the right place. So adaptation is not something evolution should take credit. But our Creator God is the one who made adaptation and made the earth so it could be filled with all these creatures, and they would have, just like we have a Swiss, army Swiss knife, God put in the genetic system this type of a Swiss knife, so that if you find yourself in these environments where it's stressful, it's like saying, okay, I have a wine bottle. Well, I can't open the wine bottle. Well, God has this corkscrew here. You see, it's there inside the cell. When you have a wine of a circumstance, that's it. Well, how about a screw? You can't screw it with your finger, but here you see it pops out. The cell has all of these tools, a toolbox that God lovingly put in its place. So Genesis 1, and not dark, is true.
