Sometimes whether a specific event is a blessing or a cursing isn't terribly clear. An occurrence could also simply be "time and chance". We do know that God has the ability to bless and curse. We need to be doing our best to follow God with our whole heart. God blesses those who obey Him and withholds blessing from those who don't.
