When we think of slavery we generally have a dark picture from our nation’s history about how others were treated. The Scriptures speak of slavery, though it may not be exactly what we think. What picture do the Scriptures paint regarding slavery? Are we a slave?

Nathan Ekama

Nathan Ekama grew up in Ohio and completed his undergraduate studies at Kent State University. He has a background in Sociology, Family Dynamics, and Statistical Analysis. Before being hired into the full-time ministry in 2015 he worked in the Energy Efficiency industry and prior to that, taught in university and primary education. Nathan currently serves as a Pastor in Central Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana. Nathan and his wife, Jacqueline, have three children.
