So much of our physical lives are built around independence. In our childhood this is praised as we walk finally by our self. As we move into our teen years, we begin to drive the family car. College comes and we move out on our own. And then as adults, we try our best to find our way through life's challenges. As death nears, we long to maintain our independent living. But should this independence also find home in our spiritual lives? In this multi-part series on the Church of God at Laodicea, we'll explore the independent spirit which is prevalent in the lives of today's Christians.
