Are You Ready for Imperfection?

Some folks' concept of the afterlife is "roll around heaven all day, with nothing to do." There you are, just taking it easy, your favorite beverage in hand, lollygagging on cloud nine with an eternity of idleness ahead of you. We in the Church of God don't believe that, of course, but sometimes our view of our future in God's Kingdom can get a little short sighted. We may sometimes view the Kingdom as the finish line or retirement. But the whole purpose of First Fruits is a call to work with Jesus Christ in teaching and preparing the world for the Great White Throne Judgement when billions of His children will be resurrected. All during the millennium, there will be much to be done! The imperfect must become perfect! Yes, we are called to work, not retirement!
