Genesis 14 - Abraham seems to understand blessings come from God. Genesis 16 - Abraham and Sarah try to force a blessing of a child instead of waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled. Genesis 17 - God reminds Abraham of His promises. Genesis 25:27-34, 26:1-9, 27:18 - Esau sells his birthright, and Jacob tries to manufacture a blessing on the birthright he purchased from Esau with a bowl of soup. Psalm 37:3 Feed on God's faithfulness. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in God with our all! Trust and obey Him in everything we do. I Corinthians 10:11-13, God faithful. Matthew 10:29-31 What does God think of us? God has tender loving care for His people. Matthew 13 - Jesus Christ gave His life for us, His pearl of great price! Ephesian 3:20, Lamentations 3:22-32. Strive with a pure heart to please God! Wait for the salvation of the Lord!
